Not bad Moriz, i always have a tough time playing war in ab cuz of all the snares from rangers and eles.

Like icy said, your angle is too high up.
for your next video make sure you lower it, can barely see your skill bar

i know what you mean. i recorded the original at 840x524 resolution. obviously i had to scale it down quite a bit. what's worse, is that i somehow managed to corrupt the original max quality video, so i only have the encoded version.

i'll try and see if filefront is cooperative or not. if it is, i'll try uploading the larger and higher quality version.

Yeah, when I play PvP in general, I can't seem to help but swapping weapon sets or use some skills via. clicking, any tips on improving this behaviour?

there's two way to do it:
1) bind everything closer, so you don't have to stretch your fingers or move your left hand to hit every key

2) practice a ton and get your hand really fast (and accurate)

since GW does allow you to easily rebind every action, option 1 is generally preferred. it's what i've done.

I like how you have the minimap up in the corner, seems like an obvious way to keep track of stuff in AB that I never thought of. I always open and close the map, so I'll have to remember to do that.

moriz you got some fail skills on your bar, distracting blow on axe, healsig is that for primal rage TYPICAL KURZICK.

[primal rage][rush][bull's strike][dismember][disrupting chop][agonizing chop][axe twist][shock]
Body blow for axe twist if you feel like it, personally I like the melee shutdown in the event that I lineback or 1v1 plus it does very similar damage.

PS: plzplz tell kurzick monks that orison of healing is not for pvp.

Lol I watched this linked vid of some rage of the ntouka guy... my thoughts for the whole thing are basically ok click frenzy... now click frenzy CLICK FRENZY use frenzy kk now switch use frenzy what are you doing USE FRENZY NOW USE FRENZY, now use rush, now use frenzy now USE FRENZY .

Some ele in RA told me that frenzy on recharge is a waste of energy...

What happened w/ that 'sin around 2:40? Why did trampling fail the second time, you still had cripple? Was he blind?

He might have had heal Sig, But self heal is ftw in ab, Even if its heal sig.
cant always hope the monk will cover you.

True that I always carry at least one self-heal on me like [Shadow refuge] and a cons counter like [I will survive] both are fast working and low energy, prefect for low energy chars.

healing sig is just stupid now. 3 in tactics gives a nice 100hp heal. it is now MORE powerful at low specs than high specs, because a 5 point investment gives you 100hp, while a 40ish point investment only gives you 130hp.

it is also a natural counter for wastrel's collapse sins. activate and cancel to fake out their teleports.

not to mention, heal sig saved me in that vid.

actually, that sin messed up. he didn't use trampling, he tried to use falling lotus from palm strike, which obviously won't work.

What are you talking about Isildor? That was pretty much an exemplary play, both as a team and playing a warrior as a part of the team. I had a hard time following the flags (color blind as I am) but any team with this level of performance is usually the best of the six on the field, and it's the other two teams who are not pulling their own weight if the result is as close as it was here.

also, keep in mind that i was playing as kurzick on etnaran keys. the map was biased against me, which might've contributed to the close score.

there are three things a warrior must do in AB:

1) kill opposing cappers. dead people don't cap shrines
2) kill opposing players to prevent them from killing YOUR cappers. dead people don't cap shrines
3) help capping shrines by standing on them

my build and playstyle was perfect for what i had to do. i pack plenty of disruption, i had excellent mobility, and i could unleash some pretty big damage. there's nothing wrong with the way i played, though my execution was still a bit lacking. but then again, warrior is not my most experienced role.

filefront has been bad lately, and i could not upload the high quality version. if anyone have any alternatives, please tell me. i also have a few more videos lined up. if all goes well, there should be another vid tomorrow.
